Module 1: Vowel Sounds

Learn English Short & Long Vowel Sounds

Learn the 10 most common sounds for vowels (A, E, I, O, U, and sometimes Y) in stressed syllables: the short and long sounds.

Rules for English Vowel Pronunciation

Learn the most common spelling clues that a vowel will be short or long. These rules aren't always followed, but they WILL help you with pronouncing & spelling words.

Learn & practice the other vowel sounds of English (au/aw, oi, oo, ou, & ow.)
